­Position Summary

eX² Technology is seeking a Project Manager skilled in implementing designs for new infrastructure and modifications of existing infrastructure to join our team. As a Project Manager, you will communicate with the client and manage project tasks.  Our ideal candidate can provide oversight of design, permitting, and construction inspection of the project.

We seek someone willing to be able to delegate work as well as self-perform some of the tasks to complete the client’s goal.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Perform field visits as needed during the construction phase of projects

  • Interact and guide CAD personnel to produce construction drawings and diagrams of designs

  • Provide client support and create quality deliverables and technical reports as well as address client questions regarding technical aspects of the project

  • Work with management to schedule work and manage workload to meet customer and company expectations

  • Responsible for tracking project progress using excel spreadsheets and databases

  • Represent eX² Technology professionally at all project-related meetings and inspections

  • Ability to conduct quality control review and approval prior to the issuance of drawings is preferred

  • Communicate tasks and schedule and coordinate project assignments with the project team

Job Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Construction Management, Project Management, Technical, Computer Science, Civil Engineering, Management, Construction

Experience

  • 3+ years experience working in the telecommunications industry

  • Telecom and FTTH experience is a major plus

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and general computer knowledge

  • Ability to contribute and work well on a team

  • Strong communication skills

  • Critical thinking and problem-solving

  • Passion for detailed work

  • Self-starter and willingness to help out the team wherever possible to complete a task

Physical Requirements

The incumbent is regularly required to sit; use hand and fingers, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The incumbent is occasionally required to walk or stand for long periods of time. The incumbent may be required to lift and/or move up to 10 lbs. and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. Other Requirements

Work safely outside year-round in all weather conditions. Occasionally work in excavation areas and roadways. Occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is occasionally moderate to loud.
