Project Coordinator - Chicago, IL, Omaha, NE or Remote
Position Summary
eX² Technology is seeking an individual to join its team as a Project Coordinator. This individual will be skilled in managing the flow of documents between internal and external partners, preparing project reports and helping to support our team in delivering telecommunications engineering, construction and maintenance projects. As a Project Coordinator, you will review contracts and specifications in their entirety and will assist with all schedule preparations and updates, quantity reporting, project costs and forecasting. Roles & Responsibilities
Prepare and manage monthly project reports and update project status metrics into company or client databases and/or spreadsheets
Provide project support by effectively organizing, facilitating and overseeing the flow of information between multiple people and systems
Proactively track deliverable status, escalating late/delayed project status as required
Manage document control to include submittal schedules, contract documents, project record drawings, meeting agenda/minutes, etc.
Assist with obtaining pricing from subcontractors to include change orders
Assist with managing correspondence to/from customers, subcontractors and vendors
Assist with project closeout
Participate in internal and external project meetings
Coordinate with cross-functional project teams to create and administer project plans, reports and schedule
Identify and mitigate project risks with Contracts Manager and Project Manager
Assist the Contracts Manager and Project Manager, as required
Job Requirements
Education
Bachelor’s degree in project management, business administration, engineering, construction management, or related studies is preferred.
Experience
Two to five years’ experience in a similar Project Coordinator or administrative support role is preferred.
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office with the ability to manipulate and edit data and create reports
Proficiency in cloud ERP Software, Acumatica preferred
Knowledge of construction plans, specifications and estimate preparation, review processing and compliance requirements for construction projects
Knowledge of construction materials, methods and procedures
Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
Experience working with contract documents and construction plans and specifications
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong time management skills and excellent attention to detail
Strong client relationship management expertise
Physical Requirements

The incumbent is occasionally required to walk or stand for long periods of time. The incumbent may be required to lift and/or move up to 10 lbs. and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
